Getting to the gym is not always an option. Most people rely on gym equipment for the big compound moves : Deadlift, Bench Press, and Squats. Fortunately we can train all the muscles used in these lifts with our bodyweight.
Calisthenics is the term used for bodyweight training. More common bodyweight exercises include Pull ups, Push ups, Lunges, and Squats (no resistance added of course).
The fun part about calisthenics is that we can get creative with how we use our bodyweight to train our muscles.
